Nous avons le sésame pour la suite

    Et voilà, nous avons enfin en poche le papier nous permettant la suite de la procédure: le Certificat de Sélection par le Québec (CSQ).

    Nous avons été à Paris hier afin d’assister à la réunion d’information organisée par la Délégation Générale du Québec, obligatoire pour recevoir son CSQ. La salle était pleine. Nous avons été surpris de constater que près de la moitié des “candidats” n’étaient pas Français. Lorsque la jeune femme nous faisant la réunion a demandé où nous souhaitions nous installer au Québec, il y a un monsieur, assis à ma gauche, qui a répondu qu’il désirait aller en Ontario! Elle lui a gentiment demandé pourquoi il était là si ce n’était pas pour aller au Québec… C’est le tact canadien: pas de conflits, pas d’affrontement direct.

    Bref, elle nous a présenté la Province, dispensé quelques conseils, répondu aux différentes questions… et délivré le fameux papier.

    Nous devons maintenant envoyer le dossier pour l’Ambassade du Canada, le plus long de la procédure. Le plus cher également !

    Nos papiers officiels (actes de naissance, de mariage, casiers judiciaires) sont périmés, ils doivent datés de moins de trois mois lors de l’envoi du dossier…

    Nous enverrons le tout lorsque nous aurons reçu le solde de tout compte de mon Tendre.

    Il nous tarde…

      100. You care more when a referee makes a bad call during the canucks games then when the Premier got arrested for drunk driving
      101. You know you’re in B.C. when you find a bear in your backyard then walk to the Starbucks a few blocks away while you wait for the bear to leave
      102. you know that an “1 1/2 hour ferry” really means 3 hours. Time to get to the ferry, wait for the ferry, get on the ferry, eat in the buffet on the ferry,and then wait for the broken down VW to get off the ferry.
      103. the mountain you grew up skiing on is now too busy with foreigners for you to get a decent amount of runs down the hill.
      104. You’ve paid $6 for an full meal of sushi.
      105. you are surprised when people tell you they don’t ski or snowboard

      Billets de train achetés

        Voilà, après moultes hésitations (je pars seule, ou nous partons tous les deux ?… en train ou en voiture?), nos billets de train sont commandés pour le 19 Décembre.

        Départ de Nantes à 7h du matin, arrivée à Paris vers 9h.

        La réunion débute à 15h30 et durera une heure et demie.

        Ca fait cher le bout de papier; les Ptits Vieux testent notre motivation!  Il est absolument hors de question que nous loupions cette réunion indispensable pour la suite de la procédure. En attendant, nous remplissons tous les formulaires demandés par l’Ambassade du Canada pour le dossier fédéral… s’ensuivra une interminable attente de 6 à 9 mois pour recevoir “la brune”, nous indiquant que nos visas sont en cours d’émission ! Là, ce sera pause des différents préavis, achat des billets d’avion direction Montréal puis Vancouver, recherche de logement et compagnie !
