Planning
Here is a small planning that should get updated quite often :
- Save enough money to start the procedure
- Start the procedure
- Prepare a list of what is very important to take with us
- Once the procedure finnished
- give up my current job
- Leave our current appartment
- Buy our plane tickets as soon as possible to avoid high prices
- Visit cities we love with the kids
- Two or three weeks before leaving france : start looking for jobs / put my CV online
- Start looking for appartments our houses (contact manfred)
- Go to Montréal by plane, do the needed procedures
- Spend X days in montréal
- Fly to vancouver
- Find an appartment or visit appartments if already planned
- Let’s go IKEA !
Et si… ? éducation

En ce moment, je suis en pleine phase “je panique” par rapport à l’éducation de nos filles lorsque nous serons au Canada. Je ne parle évidemment pas de l’éducation genre civilité, politesse etc., mais de l’éducation scolaire.
Déjà qu’en France ce n’est pas si simple, car il faut faire attention de ne pas pousser nos enfants à la compétitivité, ne pas mélanger les méthodes qu’ils apprennent en classe avec celles qui nous ont été enseignées etc.
Mais là, ce sera totalement différent! Le système scolaire Canadien est tout autre que le système Français, et en plus chaque Province a ses fonctionnements.
Par exemple, ici nous avons la maternelle pendant deux ou trois ans (puisque certains parents font sauter la grande section), là-bas ça n’existe pas mais il y a le Kindergarten de possible et je n’ai pas encore bien assimilé en quoi il consistait exactement, apparemment c’est comme une garderie. Ils commencent donc la réelle scolarité à 6-7 ans mais parfois 10 ans 
Alors en attendant on fait comment, l’école à la maison ? Pas possible car je ne connais pas les méthodes canadiennes d’apprentissage. Mais quelle galère !!! Je me pose donc énormément de questions et la peur m’envahit !

I don’t know if I’ll keep writing in English because I’m not really at-ease everytime. But I’ll try 
I dream of Canada since I’m 12 and fortunately, I found a husband who doesn’t want to live in France anymore and who wishes to be in an English-language country.
Don’t ask me why Canada instead of Australia or the USA, it’s like that.
It won’t be easy because we’re a family of 4, but we know it’s possible.
We have fear, and disappointment sometimes but hope still shines in our minds !
In one year only, we’ll be in Vancouver.
Grand Opening

Today is the grand opening of this blog.
It’s been a long time since I wrote something on a blog.
But today I decided that in one year, we will be in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Therefore, this blog will tell you the story of a familly of four through all steps of the Permanent Residence procedure, from France to Canada.
